AFK Journey 2nd Beta Test FAQ

The 2nd beta test for new mobile idle game AFK Journey has launched and is now live. Here's an FAQ for this version of the game.

The second, and hopefully, final beta version of AFK Journey has launched and is now live. It’s only available to play by a limited amount of players in specific countries. Did you get into the beta? Check our our AFK Journey codes page to get a head start in the game!

Q: How can I become eligible to participate in the test and download the game?

A: This test is a data-retained test that is only available to a limited number of accounts. The game can be downloaded from the Google Play stores in certain countries and regions (i.e., the UK, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and the Philippines). The number of test players is subject to a limit. Chosen Ones who join after the limit is reached will not be able to participate in this test.

Q: When will the test begin?

A: This is a data-retained beta test. It will start at 03:00 UTC on April 26, and the server will be permanently available.

Q: The test will be launched on which platform?

A: Only Android users can participate in this test. Users of other platforms can go to the official website (Link: to pre-register for the test. We will let you know immediately once the game is released. Note: Users who have already registered on Android can download and try the Windows version on the official website.

Q: The test will be available in which countries and regions?

A: The UK, Canada, Australia, the Philippines, and Malaysia.

Q: What languages will be available?

A: This test is available in English and Simplified Chinese. More language options will be introduced in future tests and the final version.

Q: Will the data of this beta test be retained?

A: This test is a data-retained beta test. Your account and character data will be saved permanently.

Q: Will in-app purchases be available during the test?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I join the test by using simulators?

A: We recommend that you play the game directly on the Windows version. Please go to our official website (link: to download the game. Note: New accounts can’t be registered on the Windows version of the game. Please register an account and create a character on the Android mobile version first before logging in on the Windows version to play the game (if you can only use a simulator, please use a 64-bit simulator).

Q: Can I change my gaming device during the test?

A: There is a limit to the number of accounts that can participate in this test, and switching between Android devices is currently not supported. You can switch between playing on an Android device and a PC, or between different PCs. Before switching, please ensure that you have linked your account. After switching to another device, you can use the account switching feature to log in to the old account on your new device.

Q: Will the game data of the same account be synchronized on the PC and Android versions of the game?

A: Yes. For example, if you log off after playing on the Android version, you will be able to log in on the PC version with the same account to continue where you left off.

Q: Is an internet connection required throughout the test?

A: Yes. To ensure a good experience, please log into the game with a good internet connection and use Wi-Fi or 4G.
