**Early Life**

Cassadee showed signs of magical talent from a very young age—her family discovered her gift when their teapot mysteriously never emptied, though the tea was always far too sweet. Curious and studious, she grew up surrounded by books and questions, especially those related to Merlin’s teachings. Even as a child, she preferred solving problems and analyzing spells over playing with other kids, often overwhelming them with her enthusiasm.

**Notable Bonds**

* Magister Merlin - Cassadee has admired Merlin since she was little, she has studied many of his books, and she even wishes to one day have a familiar hamster like him.

**Affinity Tales**

• Cassadee has won the Lyceum's magic tournament twice. Afterward, she would always invite her opponents to dinner in order to discuss spells and strategies and try to get feedback. She doesn't understand why they refused each time.

• Cassadee likes to brew her tea with at least 5-7 cubes of sugar. When asked, she always replies that it helps her think, but everyone knows that she just has a sweet tooth.

• The latest pastries at the Sunshore Bakery are too sweet for most customers, and they are losing business. However, Cassadee has been buying twice her weekly amount to keep the business going.

• Eight out of ten books Cassadee has borrowed from the library mention either Merlin or magic. The other two seem to cover psychology and interpersonal relationships. Her last book is "How to Win Friends and Influence Magic".

• Cassadee's study notes are very neat and orderly. Every exam season, other students often offer ridiculous amounts of money for copies of her notes. One very drowsy-looking student even offered her his yearly allowance for her herbology notes.

• Cassadee loves discussions where ideas and thoughts clash. However, she doesn't have many friends. Even some teachers avoid her because they feel inadequate in their knowledge. In the end, she always turns to books, especially ones written by Merlin.

• When Cassadee was three, she loved to fiddle with the tea set her family had. When her parents realized that their teapot never ran out of tea, her innate gift of magic was discovered. However, the tea always tasted too sweet for her family.

• Cassadee dreamed of having a hamster familiar, just like the legendary Merlin. However, she's only been able to summon water elementals so far. After 113 failed attempts, she still hasn't given up. The closest she got was a watery-looking gerbil.

• Whenever Cassadee asks the question, "Why?" A new research topic is born. Her questions have spawned theses that include "Structure and Function of Magical Society," "A Theory of Magical Justice," and "Magic, Capitalism, and Freedom."
