STORY

**Affinity Tales**

• There were once two comets that were destined to plummet to the earth and shatter into pieces. However, Dura stopped that from happening, and the reason remains a mystery. Since then, the twin stars have illuminated the sky for two thousand years.

• "Elijah" and "Lailah" are the names of the stars, and they were also the first words that came to their minds after Dura granted them life and energy.

• The temple regards Elijah and Lailah as the light that brightens the sky and the guardians of peace, likely because they were created by Dura. In reality, though, they merely gaze nonchalantly at the people from above.

• Elijah and Lailah enjoy dancing together and playing clapping games. Basically, any games that have to be done in pairs are their cup of tea.

• The protagonists in the play titled "The Twin Stars" are said to be inspired by Elijah and Lailah, with some of their lines taken directly from "The Dialogues of Elijah and Lailah," a manuscript written by the temple acolytes.

• "Earth and sky; day and night. The stars always shimmer brightly, both when the curtain rises and when the music fades." These are some lines from "The Twin Stars" play.

• Elijah and Lailah share a deep connection, always finishing each other's sentences with perfect synchronization.

• "At first, you might think they are lovely and friendly based on their appearance, but in truth, they are as indifferent as a stagnant pool. Yet, their light still brings courage and solace in the darkness," a Templar Knight once remarked.

• Elijah and Lailah need no other companions and even dislike being disturbed by others, as they are both the best of friends and family to one another.
