**Early Life**

Gala was raised her entire life to be an offering to the Hunting Goddess. Her parents died when she was very young, leaving her to grow up under the guidance and traditions of her tribe. Galahad's fate as a living sacrifice was sealed on the night of the Blood Moon when she was born. Under the care of High Priestess Modra, she was never sent on a hunt or into battle, for her life had to remain pure enough to please the Hunting Goddess. The turning point in her life came when she became the emissary for the false Hunting Goddess. It was not until then that she realized the value of life and began to manifest her extraordinary magical talent. Having witnessed the suffering of mortals and the cruelty of the fallen goddess, Galahad resolved to use magic to protect humanity, just like her savior.

**Notable Bonds**

*Magister Merlin - Gala first encountered Merlin during a ceremony in which she was about to be offered as a sacrifice to the Hunting Goddess. Like all the other Wildborn, she believed that Merlin was deity. Over time, Magister Merlin became her mentor, showing her a new perspective on life beyond the strict traditions of her tribe. Magister Merlin decided to halt the sacrificial ritual and gave Gala the role of his divine emissary, fostering a bond built on guidance, protection, and mutual trust. Thanks to Merlin, Galahad was spared from being offered as a living sacrifice during her childhood. Merlin showered young Galahad with care and guidance, helping her realize her own worth. From then on, Galahad became Merlin's most loyal follower. Even after Merlin's true identity was revealed, she continued to regard Merlin as the only true deity. She devoted her entire life to studying temporal magic in order to reunite with Merlin, who came from the future. * Arcane Council - Galahad's remarkable talent earned her the opportunity to learn magic from Merlin the First and Morgan as a member of the Arcane Council. Despite learning much from Merlin the First and Morgan, Galahad never addressed them as her masters. In her heart, Merlin was the only one worthy of that title. Interestingly, Morgan was far from pleased to see Galahad picking up on his rhetorical skills. *Temple of Seers - During her tenure as the high priestess of Wildborn, Galahad commissioned the construction of the Sandscript Temple, where the Wanderer's Mural chronicled Merlin's noble deeds. It was also her final resting place. As thousands of years passed, the Sandscript Temple remained well-preserved within the Temple of Seers. *High Priestess Modra - Gala spent much of her life training under Modra in preparation to become the sacrificial offering for the Hunting God in Blood Moon Ritual. She respects Modra for her guidance and experience, and while their relationship is primarily one of teacher and student, there is a subtle sense of care in the way Modra treats her. *Nazrik - They are in the same tribe.

*Few knew the truth. Galahad was a sublime dancer. Her movements were honed for sacred rites meant to appease the gods. *In moments of doubt, confusion, or despair, Galahad's hand would drift unconsciously to the piece of cloth at her neck. A simple touch that always fills her with strength and comfort... like a child holding her favorite teddy bear. *Merlin the First took immense joy in watching Galahad grow to become Morgan's equal, and then his superior, in debate. For his part, Morgan secretly loved being challenged but always expressed mock exasperation. *Even after the Hunting Goddess' fall, Galahad would return to the Skyfall Altar with every blood moon, looking at her guardian leaf all night. The Wildborn believed she was waiting for the one she had faith in to return to her. *No matter how far or how long she was away, Galahad would always return to the tribe when harvesting season arrived to personally pick the first ear of wheat.
