Skills
1000 EnergyGerda uses a wooden ladle to splash spring water within a 2-tile radius, healing affected allies for 120% ATK HP and dealing 140% ATK damage to affected enemies. Enemies affected are also put to sleep for 1s and cannot move or act. Each time a target receives healing equal to 10% of their max HP or is healed 3 times by Gerda's hot spring, the sleep extends by 0.5s, up to 3s.
Level 2: Increases damage dealt to 150% ATK. (Unlocks at Level 51)
Level 3: Increases damage dealt to 160% ATK. (Unlocks at Level 111)
Level 4: Increases damage dealt to 170% ATK. (Unlocks at Level 171)
Level 5: Increases damage dealt to 180% ATK. (Unlocks at Level 231)
When a battle starts, Gerda leaps forward up to 3 tiles and stomps the ground to unleash a spring, dealing 200% ATK damage with an interruption effect to enemies within 1 tile. Then she creates a hot spring within a 2-tile radius. Allies within this area recover 25% ATK HP per second, while enemies recover 4% ATK HP per second (capped at 0.5% of their max HP). Gerda is unaffected when casting this skill.

12sGerda smashes an enemy with a wooden ladle, dealing 150% ATK damage and stunning them for 1.5s. At the same time, Gerda gains a 340% ATK shield for 8s.

When Gerda stomps the ground during Spring Therapy, she stuns enemies for 2s instead of interrupting them.
Level 2: When an ally enters Gerda's hot spring area for the first time, they gain a shield that can absorb 300% ATK damage. For every 3 instances of healing the ally receives from the hot spring, they gain an extra shield that absorbs 150% ATK damage. The total shield value from this skill cannot exceed 450% ATK per ally at once.
Progression systems
Gerda increases healing received from the allied hot spring by 120%. Each time an ally is healed by it, the cooldown of Mighty Smash is reduced by 0.2s.
Story
Affinity Tales
- Gerda named the Frozen paw after her best friend, a Mauler girl she really cares about. Her friend in turn, runs the Brown Paw Clothier back in her hometown, kind of a nod to their friendship.
- Gerda's all about peace—totally against conflict, which makes her kinda rare among the Maulers. Some thought she was weak, but her fists made them rethink that fast.
- "Combat training? Nah, I don't do that kind of stuff," Gerda said, as if it were no big deal, after knocking a troublemaker into the wall with one punch. "I'm just naturally stronger than most."
- After leaving her clan, Gerda ended up stranded in Cedartown because of the snow. And what did she think of the local food? Well, it was good enough that she decided to stick around permanently.
- Gerda loves her pies with mushroom soup—so much that she's basically the restaurant's best customer. She can knock back five portions in one sitting without breaking a sweat.
- Gerda emptied her coffers to buy a small, struggling hot spring inn. By the second year, the Frozen Paw had become the go-to holiday retreat in Whiteridge.
- "Madam Gerda? She's not just beautiful, generous, and meticulous—there's something more beneath it all. I speak from the heart when I say she understands people in ways few do," remarked Lorsan, an employee at the Frozen Paw.
- The ladle Gerda always carries is no ordinary tool. Crafted by her Mauler friend from the wood of her homeland, it is adorned with intricate tribal patterns, each line telling a story of roots and tradition.
- A local once witnessed Gerda with nothing but her bare hands, send a snow wolf careening down a mountain. Since that moment, the creatures that once stalked the area have vanished&mash;no one can say why, but the guests of the inn now rest easy.
- They say the hot spring pool used to be a lot smaller. It was Gerda who found the new springs and made it what it is today.
