Arcane Fireball

Gourgue chants an arcane incantation, creating a massive fireball and launching it toward the densest cluster of enemies. After landing, the fireball explodes to deal damage equal to 80% of Gourgue's Attack Rating to enemies within range.

Lv.121The fireball explodes to deal damage equal to 150% of Gourgue's Attack Rating to enemies within range.

Gourgue uses his mushroom brush to trace out a protective rune, reducing the non-Dragonspeak Damage he takes by 50% for 5 seconds.

Mending Scales

When Gourgue's health drops below 40%, his Draconis blood heals his wounds more quickly, allowing him to recover health equal to 120% of his Attack Rating every second for 3 seconds. This effect can be triggered up to 1 time per battle.

STORY

Gourgue is an intelligence-based hero of the Draconis faction.

Dragon Isle is home to a wide variety of Draconis, and Gourgue is among the least notable of them.

He was never gifted with magic, and unlike the other Draconis, his magical powers were weak at best. Any ordinary Draconis would be scrambling to remedy this. but Gourque didn't see it as an urgent problem. He'd always been mild-mannered. with an even temper.

He asked some more magically-inclined dragonkin to write a magic tome for him. from which he studied spells every day Since Gourgue wasn't good at remembering things, the tome was full of detailed notes on how not to make mistakes. One could say it was supposed to be foolproof.

Early on in his studies, for lack of a stabilizing magical medium, Gourgue often set his house ablaze in one magical blunder or another. What brought tears of laughter to his dragonkin, however, was that when they would rescue him, Gourgue would still be calmly flipping through the tome in search of a spell to extinguish the flames.

For a long time, Gourgue would excuse his behavior by saying, "If you're not setting your house on fire, you're not trying hard enough!" But eventually, he was persuaded to relocate to a nearby field of mushrooms. The area was damp and humid, so his fiery failures were perfectly controlled. What surprised him. however. was that a certain cluster of mushrooms seemed to have absorbed the energetic residue of his magical machinations. Not only did the mushrooms grow better, they also became an ideal medium for casting spells. Ever since Gourgue began using one of those mushrooms as a wand, his failure rate has dropped dramatically.

Today, although Gourgue has mastered only a smattering of magical skills-a mere fraction of other Draconis-he still remains optimistic. He knows that as long as he doesn't give up, his powers can only grow.

Like a tireless apprentice, he nudges forward toward his goals each day. Clumsily, but ever-diligent.

"Even if I only learn one spell a year, by the time I'm a hundred years old, I'lI know a hundred spells!"
