At the start of battle, Netherspinner summons multiple Brood Weavers, which inherit a percentage of Netherspinner's max health. Brood Weavers can be attacked, but are immune to control effects. When summoned, each Brood Weaver targets a different enemy hero and moves continuously toward them. When a Brood Weaver arrives within a certain range of the enemy hero, it begins chanting for 2.5s. When the chant finishes, the Brood Weaver leaves the battlefield, while the enemy hero is teleported back to their initial position and is immobilized there for 4s. Brood Weavers can be summoned again 2.5s after leaving the battlefield.
The initial damage and health loss taken by Brood Weavers is reduced by 90%. While on the left side of the battlefield, this effect is increased and remains at 99%. When a Brood Weaver is on the right side of the battlefield and is knocked back, it will suffer health loss equal to 15% of its max health, while its damage and health loss reduction will be diminished based on the knockback distance (capped at a max reduction of 15% per knockback). The Attack Rating of the enemy unit that inflicted this knockback will be permanently increased based on the knockback distance (capped at a max increase of 5% per knockback). This effect can be triggered once every 1s for each Brood Weaver. While a Brood Weaver is present on the battlefield, the damage and health loss taken by the Netherspinner is reduced by 99%. Once all Brood Weavers have been killed, they will be summoned again after 4.5s.
Netherspinner deals damage to the 3 enemy heroes with the lowest Attack Rating and applies Spirit Rend on them for 8s. While Spirit Rend is active, affected heroes are taunted by Netherspinner and have their Attack Rating reduced by 45%. If a hero resists the taunt effect, then they inflict 65% less damage and health loss for the duration of Spirit Rend instead.
Netherspinner spits silk, dealing damage to the 2 nearest enemies. If a target is currently taunted by the Spirit Rend effect, they also lose 300 Energy.
