Just as the Cloudpiercers had defeated the Hypogean vanguard forces, the cunning demons employed a barrier that prevented the Cloudpiercer dragons from flying—also causing them to lose communication with the outside world. Confined by the Hypogean spell, the Cloudpiercer tribe was fighting a losing battle on the Floating Isle. Just at that crucial moment, the Cloudpiercer chieftain ordered Drazen, the tribe's swiftest messenger, to escape and call for reinforcements...
