King's Tower has 3,300 floors, opens after Stage 2-12, and lets you climb as many floors a day as your team can beat. The faction towers (the Towers of Esperia) have 1,950 floors each for the four main factions and 1,300 each for Celestials and Hypogeans. Each one takes only heroes of its faction, opens on set days, and caps how many floors you can clear per day. Every floor pays out once, the first time you beat it.
The towers at a glance
| Tower | Heroes allowed | Floors | Unlocks after | Open days (UTC) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| King's Tower | Any | 3,300 | Stage 2-12 | Every day |
| Tower of Light | Lightbearers | 1,950 | Stage 14-40 | Monday, Friday, Sunday |
| Brutal Citadel | Maulers | 1,950 | Stage 14-40 | Tuesday, Friday, Sunday |
| World Tree | Wilders | 1,950 | Stage 14-40 | Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday |
| Forsaken Necropolis | Graveborn | 1,950 | Stage 14-40 | Thursday, Saturday, Sunday |
| Celestial Sanctum | Celestials | 1,300 | Stage 29-60 | Wednesday, Friday, Sunday |
| Infernal Fortress | Hypogeans | 1,300 | Stage 29-60 | Thursday, Saturday, Sunday |
The day switches at 00:00 UTC. Sunday is the only day every tower is open.
Daily floor limits
King's Tower has no daily limit. Each faction tower lets you clear 20 floors per day. Once you clear Stage 19-40, Upsurge Pursuit unlocks and the limit becomes cumulative: unused floors carry over, up to 60 per tower. With Upsurge Pursuit, missing one open day costs you nothing as long as the stored total stays under 60, so you can bank floors and spend them in one push when your team gets stronger.
Multi-team floors
Higher floors make you field more than one team, and each extra team needs five more heroes. In a faction tower all of them have to come from that faction.
| Tower | 1 team | 2 teams | 3 teams |
|---|---|---|---|
| King's Tower | Floors 1 to 700 | Floors 701 to 950 | Floors 951 to 3,300 |
| Four main faction towers | Floors 1 to 450 | Floors 451 to 660 | Floors 661 to 1,950 |
| Celestial Sanctum and Infernal Fortress | Floors 1 to 350 | Floors 351 to 1,300 | - |
That makes roster depth the real wall in the faction towers. Clearing Brutal Citadel past floor 660 means building 15 Maulers you can actually use, while Celestial and Hypogean floors never ask for more than 10.
Every floor shows replays of earlier clears, including some from friends and guildmates. Watching how a team beat the floor tells you more than the power number does.
King's Tower rewards
Every King's Tower floor pays diamonds, gold, Hero's Essence and hero soulstones. Floors ending in 0 swap Rare Hero Soulstones for Elite Hero Soulstones, and floors ending in 5 or 0 pay double diamonds. The amounts climb until floor 500, then hold steady from floor 501:
| Floor type (from floor 501) | Diamonds | Hero's Essence | Soulstones |
|---|---|---|---|
| Floors ending in 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 | 80 | 150 | 30 Rare Hero Soulstones |
| Floors ending in 5 | 160 | 150 | 30 Rare Hero Soulstones |
| Floors ending in 0 | 160 | 150 | 30 Elite Hero Soulstones |
Gold per floor tops out at 5,655,000 on floor 1,300 and stays there to the top.
What each stretch of the tower pays in total:
| Floors | Diamonds | Gold | Hero's Essence | Rare Hero Soulstones | Elite Hero Soulstones |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 100 | 3,360 | 2.72 million | 1,375 | 630 | 100 |
| 101 to 250 | 10,560 | 79.0 million | 5,625 | 2,295 | 350 |
| 251 to 500 | 24,000 | 1.15 billion | 19,375 | 6,525 | 750 |
| 501 to 1,000 | 48,000 | 2.82 billion | 75,000 | 13,500 | 1,500 |
| 1,001 to 2,000 | 96,000 | 5.65 billion | 150,000 | 27,000 | 3,000 |
| 2,001 to 3,300 | 124,800 | 7.35 billion | 195,000 | 35,100 | 3,900 |
| All 3,300 floors | 306,720 | 17.06 billion | 446,375 | 85,050 | 9,600 |
From floor 501 on, every 10 floors pay 960 diamonds, which adds up fast for anyone still climbing.
The Wall of Legends (unlocked at Stage 4-36) has a King's Tower Progression Ladder for your server. When the first player on the server reaches a ladder achievement, its reward unlocks for every player there.
Lightbearer, Mauler, Wilder and Graveborn tower rewards
These four towers pay the same rewards. Only the faction on the hero cards and the late-game emblem changes: Light Emblems from the Tower of Light, Might Emblems from the Brutal Citadel, Nature Emblems from the World Tree and Death Emblems from the Forsaken Necropolis.
Ordinary floors alternate between gold and Common Enhancement Tokens. Floor 1 pays 200,000 gold and floor 2 pays 200 tokens, and the amounts step up until floor 131, after which they stay at 600,000 gold and 600 tokens. Floors ending in 5 or 0 carry the milestone rewards:
| Floor | Reward |
|---|---|
| 5, 15, 25 ... 95 | Hero's Essence, rising from 800 to 3,000 |
| 10, 30, 50 | 360 diamonds |
| 20, 60, 80, 120, 140 | Rare faction hero cards (6, 12, 12, 18 and 24) |
| 40 and 100 | 30 and 60 Elite Hero Soulstones |
| 70 and 90 | 10 Amplifying Emblems |
| 110, 130, 150 | 15 Amplifying Emblems |
| 105, 125, 145 | 36, 40 and 48 million Hero EXP (125 and 145 also give 5 Stargazer Scrolls) |
| 115 and 135 | 3,600 Hero's Essence (135 also gives 5 Stargazer Scrolls) |
| 160 to 450 | 90 Elite Hero Soulstones on 16 floors (160, 180 ... 360, then 370, 390 ... 450), and 15 Amplifying Emblems on the other floors ending in 0 |
| 245 to 455 | 10 Fortuitous Emblem Choice Chests on 11 floors (245, 265 ... 345, then 375, 395 ... 455) |
| 155 to 1,945 | 5 Stargazer Scrolls and 4,000 Hero's Essence on the other floors ending in 5 |
From floor 460 the pattern settles into a 20-floor loop that runs to the top:
| Floor in the loop | Reward |
|---|---|
| Ending in 5 | 5 Stargazer Scrolls and 4,000 Hero's Essence |
| 460, 480, 500 ... | 10 faction emblems |
| 490, 510, 530 ... | 10 Fortuitous Emblem Choice Chests |
The only break is at the start: floor 470 pays 5 Stargazer Scrolls and 5,000,000 gold, and floor 475 pays 10 Fortuitous Emblem Choice Chests.
Totals for one full tower:
| Reward | Total over 1,950 floors |
|---|---|
| Gold | 457,240,000 |
| Common Enhancement Tokens | 452,240 |
| Hero's Essence | 693,200 |
| Hero EXP | 124,000,000 |
| Diamonds | 1,080 |
| Rare faction hero cards | 72 |
| Elite Hero Soulstones | 1,530 |
| Amplifying Emblems | 275 |
| Stargazer Scrolls | 860 |
| Fortuitous Emblem Choice Chests | 860 |
| Faction emblems | 750 |
Faction emblems only start at floor 460, so a tower's emblem income only matters once that faction's roster can push past it.
Celestial Sanctum and Infernal Fortress rewards
These two start at the late-game rates and never change pattern. Ordinary floors alternate 600,000 gold and 600 Common Enhancement Tokens, and every floor ending in 5 pays 5 Stargazer Scrolls and 4,000 Hero's Essence. Floors ending in 0 rotate:
| Floor | Reward |
|---|---|
| 20, 40, 60 ... 1,300 | 10 Divinity Emblems (Celestial Sanctum) or 10 Chaos Emblems (Infernal Fortress) |
| 10, 30 ... 190 | 15 Amplifying Emblems |
| 210, 230 ... 1,290 | 10 Fortuitous Emblem Choice Chests |
A full clear of either tower pays 312,000,000 gold, 312,000 Common Enhancement Tokens, 650 Stargazer Scrolls, 520,000 Hero's Essence, 150 Amplifying Emblems, 650 Divinity or Chaos Emblems and 550 Fortuitous Emblem Choice Chests. Divinity and Chaos Emblems upgrade Celestial and Hypogean Signature Items, and these towers hand them out from floor 20, so they're worth climbing as soon as you have a usable Celestial or Hypogean team.
Mercenaries
You can borrow heroes from friends to help with tower floors. Both hiring systems unlock at Stage 6-40.
Short-Term Mercenaries are Legendary or higher heroes borrowed from a friend or your guild's Exemplar. You can hire 3 per week and have 5 requests out at once. Each hired hero works once per mode in King's Tower, the Towers of Esperia and campaign stages, and that use only counts if you win, so a lost fight doesn't waste it. All borrowed heroes go back at 00:00 UTC on Sunday. A borrowed hero keeps the owner's Signature Item, Ascension tier, artifacts and furniture, but uses your own hero level, gear and Elder Tree. You can't borrow from friends who haven't logged in for 7 days, and a hero can only be lent to one friend at a time. Lending out a hero earns 10 Companion Points, up to 50 a week. If you have a Mentor, you can also take 2 Mentor Mercenaries a week without waiting for approval.
Garrisoned Mercenaries are 30-day loans. A hired hero joins at level 1 and Elite tier, and you level and ascend it yourself. While the loan lasts it counts as your own hero everywhere, faction towers included. Each hire costs 100 Dimensional Stones, and after you've hired the same hero 6 times it's free. You can exchange up to 200 Dimensional Stones a month. Progress on the hero stays when the loan ends, but you can't use it again until you re-hire it, and taking a garrisoned hero to Ascended raises your Resonating Crystal's max level for good. Lending a hero earns 40 Companion Points, up to 200 a month.
For tower pushing, the Short-Term route is the quick fix: borrow a strong Legendary+ hero of the right faction for the one floor that's blocking you. A Garrisoned hero only beats that once you've invested enough to make it a real member of the team.
